Dear Lord, I thank You for this day, >> I thank You for my being able to see >> and to hear this morning. >> I'm blessed because You are >> a forgiving God and >> an understanding God. >> You have done so much for me >> and You keep on blessing me. >> Forgive me this day for everything >> I have done, said or thought >> that was not pleasing to you. >> I ask now for Your forgiveness. >> Please keep me safe >> from all danger and harm. >> Help me to start this day >> with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude. >> Let me make the best of each and every day >> to clear my mind so that I can hear from You. >> Please broaden my mind >> that I can accept all things. >> Let me not whine and whimper >> over things I have no control over. >> And give me the best response >> when I'm pushed beyond my limits. >> I know that when I can't pray, >> You listen to my heart. >> Continue to use me to do Your will. >> Continue to bless me that I may be >> a blessing to others. >> Keep me strong that I may help the weak... >> Keep me uplifted that I may have >> words of encouragement for others. >> I pray for those that are lost >> and can't find their way. >> I pray for those that are misjudged >> and misunderstood. >> I pray for those who >> don't know You intimately. >> I pray for those that will delete this >> without sharing it with others >> I pray for those that don't believe. >> But I thank You that I believe >> that God changes people and >> God changes things. >> I pray for all my sisters and brothers. >> For each and every family member >> in their households. >> I pray for peace, love and joy >> in their homes; that they are out of debt >> and all their needs are met. >> I pray that every eye that reads this >> knows there is no problem, circumstance, >> or situation greater than God. >> Every battle is in Your hands for You to fight. >> I pray that these words be received >> into the hearts of every eye that sees it >> in Jesus' name. Amen!

Beautiful Advice from My cousin Carol
Beautiful advice.
A wise one said, 'Never borrow from the future. If you worry about what may happen tomorrow and it doesn't happen, you have worried in vain. Even if it does happen, you have to worry twice.'
1. Pray
2. Go to bed on time.
3. Get up on time so you can start the day unrushed.
4. Say No to projects that won't fit into your time schedule, or that will compromise your mental health.
5. Delegate tasks to capable others.
6. Simplify and unclutter your life.
7. Less can be more.
8. Allow adequate time to do things and to get to places.
9. Pace yourself. Spread out big changes and difficult projects over time; don't lump the hard things all together.
10. Take one day at a time.
11. Separate worries from concerns. If a situation is a concern, find out what God would have you do and let go of the anxiety. If you can't do anything about a situation, forget it.
12. Live within your budget.
13. Have backups; an extra car key in your wallet, an extra house key buried in the garden, extra stamps, etc.
14. K.M.S. (Keep Mouth Shut). This single piece of advice can prevent an enormous amount of trouble.
15. Do something for the Kid in You everyday.
16. Carry a Bible with you to read while waiting in line.
17. Get enough rest.
18. Eat right.
19 Get organized so everything has its place.
20. Listen to a tape while driving that can help improve your quality of life.
21. Write down thoughts and inspirations.
22. Every day, find time to be alone.
23. Having problems? Talk to God on the spot. Try to nip small problems in the bud. Don't wait until it's time to go to bed to try and pray.
24. Make friends with Godly people.
25. Keep a folder of favorite scriptures on hand.
26. Remember that the shortest bridge between despair and hope is often a good 'Thank you God.'
27. Laugh.
28. Laugh some more!
29. Take your work seriously, but not yourself at all.
30. Develop a forgiving attitude (most people are doing the best they can).
31. Be kind to unkind people (they probably need it the most).
32. Sit on your ego.
33 Talk less; listen more. 34. Slow down.
35. Remind yourself that you are not the general manager of the universe.
36 Every night before bed, think of one thing you're grateful for that you've never been grateful for before.
GOD HAS A WAY OF TURNING THINGS AROUND FOR YOU.
'If God is for us, who can be against us?'
(Romans 8:31)

Birthday Clock/Calculator. This is really cool! Try it
Birthday Clock
It tells you how many hours and how many seconds you have been alive on this earth and when you were probably conceived. How cool is that? This is cool. After you've finished reading the info, click again, and see what the moon looked like the night you were born. This is neat. Who says our time clocks aren't ticking....

George and Rosa
These are our friends George and Rosa. They came for dinner on Monday night and we had a really great time. We laughed so much my cheeks hurt. We met them at church. It is so great to have Christian friends who love God and thank him for what he is doing in their lives. They brought a delicious Ice cream bwownie cake. Yummo. I made a roast and vegetables and salad and rolls. They also brought their daughter who teaches preschool in San Jose, so we got to talk "shop" I had a flashback of my daycare days. Great memories. Anyway, A good time was had by all. We look forward to getting to know them better.

My Mom and Dad
My Dad will be 85 on February 27 and my Mom will be 79 on June 27. I am going to look for a picture of them in their 20's. They are still in love and still "side by side" like they have been for 60 years. There is definitely something to be said for that. All you young whipper snappers take notice! I'm sure it wasn't always easy or fun along life's journey. You gotta' love 'em. I do!
